UP BEd entrance exam today; important points to note before visiting exam centre
The authorities have asked candidates to wear face masks and keep hand sanitizer with them.

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh BEd entrance examination will begin today i.e. Sunday, August 9, 2020, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The state would maintain strict vigil and transparency at all examination centres. There will be thermal screening and hand sanitization of every candidate before he/she enters the exam centre. The authorities have asked candidates to wear face masks and keep hand sanitizer with them.
The candidate can show their admit card to use auto-rickshaw, cabs or other means of transport for reaching examination centres. Lucknow University has uploaded a detailed guidelines on the same on the official website of the varsity. “As per government’s directions, every Saturday and Sunday, movement is restricted to avoid the spread of Covid-19. The examination is scheduled on Sunday and the government has given permission for movement. The candidates can travel on these two lockdown days. All they need is to carry their admit cards with them,” said state BEd coordinator Prof Amita Bajpai.
The UP BEd examination will be held in two shifts from 9am-12noon and from 2pm to 5pm on August 9. More than 4.3 lakh candidates will be appearing for the examination at 1,089 centres across the state.
The students should keep following points in mind while visiting the exam centre on Sunday:
1) Reach the examination venue one hour before the scheduled time
2) Students can show their admit card to use public and private transport to reach exam centre
3) Follow the Covid-19 protocol strictly. All students should wear face mask and keep hand sanitizer with them
4) Thermal scanning of candidates and sanitization process will be ensured at the examination centre
