Be in the court of a positive 50

The other day my good friend, Laddu Pinto, met me in the evening. He was apparently disturbed. Usually, Laddu has been a laughing lot. It was unusual to see all those smiles evaporate from the erstwhile jolly face.

When I asked him the reason behind the gloom, he could not express adequately. After a lot of digging and mining into his mind, I got the answer. He was scared. The pandemic had caused a traumatic scar in his mind. Some days back, one of his friends relative succumbed to Covid-19. He could not even attend the final rites, the government does not allow! On top of it, the fear of infection disallows people to socialise.

Laddu had lost his ability to go crazy and laugh out loud. He did not realise it, but he was living life at a low vibration of existence. Instead, there was no happiness but a hidden sense of awaiting the unexpected to happen to him.

Friends, similar is the story of most of us. We may not have recognised, or it may not be apparent, but fear of ‘known and unwanted calamity’ has started gripping mankind. Although people have begun accepting the existence of coronavirus and are now taking desired precautions, deep inside the heart, they are afraid.

A fact which I want to emphasise with all such people is that “If you are worried or sad, you are working against yourselves!” Life is nothing but the eternal process of becoming happy and peaceful. Any feeling contrary to it is death.

Think about it

While your motive is to stay safe, you are encouraging a lot of negative fantasies to play in your mind. Don’t you believe in the ability of the virus to harm you more than the power of your safety precautions? A firm conviction in the prospect of safety is the need of the hour.

It must be realised that the future is always irrelevant today. It has not happened. Even the past is of no consequence because it has already happened. Everything that you may foresee and desire can only be achieved in the present. As such, each one of us must practise the art of living in our ‘now’.

When we live in our present, life becomes a lot easy. Engaging hundred per cent in our act of today will not only make us more productive but also a lot happier. Immerse yourself into the emotions of hope and joy. Must read something positive and enlightening every day: Shun negativity, and embrace faith.

Recently, I posted a message on social media, asking readers to believe that Corona shall end soon. A few responded harshly and refuted my post. Their argument was that it was a false propagation. My point of view is, “we do not know the future”. While odds are that Corona may stay with us for a lifetime. Still, there is an equal probability of finding medicine for it very soon. Sooner the better. When the chances are destined to behave 50:50, I would always want to be in the court of a positive 50!

At this moment, all that is required to deal with the current situation is to manage our emotions productively. Let us all be consciously aware of the fact that “nothing is impossible”. A few months back, no one would have thought of a minuscule virus disrupting the entire humanity on earth. Likewise, a few months from now, some molecule might defeat that virus and bring back life to normal! Who knows?

Its time to rework on our thoughts and bring back our ability to experience joy irrespective of the environmental situations. Why not shift from emptiness to the fullness of this creation called ‘life’?

Fun and joy are the most desired state of emotion. Can you recall that feeling of goosebumps you experienced some time back on anticipation of the manifestation of some of your desires! How exhilarating it was to live those moments? Can we get back to those beautiful emotions? Reduce your worries and make them near to zero. Start visualising pandemic free days ahead. The power of a mass visualisation will surely defeat this virus.

Be eager to welcome joy, peace, excitement, happiness and laurels in life.
