Jake Gordon scored a hat-trick as the Waratahs thumped the Reds 45-12 in a Super Rugby AU clash in Sydney on Saturday.
The scrumhalf scored all three of his tries inside 27 minutes as the Waratahs raced to a 38-0 lead at half-time with the Reds awful in all departments.
It got better for the visitors after the break, but by the end of the contest the Waratahs had run in six tries to just two from the Reds.
The win leaves the Waratahs tied with the Reds in third position on the Super Rugby AU log.
