A gamer who dropped out of his law degree to pursue a career on YouTube has just snapped up a beachfront property for $9.1 million.
Elliott Watkins, best known by his fans as Muselk, generates upwards of a million video views each day on his YouTube channel - potentially earning him about $7,500 a day.
The 25-year-old uploads everything from tutorials and vlogs to videos of himself playing video games, and was also a presenter for Disney's Gamefest.
Watkins shared footage of himself travelling on Dan Bilzerian's private jet for a trip to Las Vegas with friends and documents his adventures to social media.
But the industry is far from all fun and games. Watkins previously revealed he spent upwards of 14 hours a day in front of his computer screen for work, and tries to upload videos to his YouTube channel several times a week.
The professional gamer recently splashed $9,125,000 on a three-bedroom beachfront home in Tamarama, in Sydney's east.

Watkins' new property boasts three bedrooms in addition to a study, library, cellar and pool on a 580sqm block overlooking the world famous beach - which is known for having Sydney's best surf.
The home was last on the market almost 40 years ago, when cinematographer Peter James snapped it up for $250,000 in 1981.
Watkins also owns a terrace in Pyrmont, which he bought in 2017 for $3.65 million.
His first property was a two-bedroom apartment in Rosebery, which he bought in 2016 for $990,000. He sold it in April at a loss for $860,000.
His estimated net worth is thought to be about $8 million.
He has shared pictures to his social media pages stepping off what appear to be private jets, and tagged several trips away to Las Vegas and Ontario.
During one trip to Vegas, Watkins told his Instagram followers he was flying on Dan Bilzerian's private jet.

The 25-year-old's estimated revenue from his YouTube channel alone is about $7,500 per day - or $2.7 million a year - based on his audience and growth, according to gossip site, Naibuzz.
He reportedly gains about 10,000 subscribers each day, has about 9.2 million in total, and as accumulated more than 3.3 billion views on his channel.
Watkins initially hoped to pursue a career in law, but dropped his commerce and law degree aged 20 to pursue a full-time YouTube career.
At the time, he was interning for Gilbert+Tobin, an award-winning national law firm.
He began streaming and gaming for 14 hours a day, starting at about 10am and working through to about 2am each morning, he previously told CNet.
'One of the parts of the job that makes it so stressful is that there's no other job that gives you real-time performance feedback. It's almost like getting a report card from your boss, every minute of every day,' Watkins told the platform back in 2018.
He said the time he spent working made it near impossible to get to the gym or focus on other aspects of his life.

Her brother explained he just wanted to help out other teens like himself when launching the business.
'When you're a YouTuber, you're not in a 50 year career. You have a limited life cycle,' he said.
'There has been a prevalence of dodgy operators trying to take advantage of a lot of young people. You have teenagers negotiating contracts and career altering deals out of their bedrooms and they just don't understand their value.
'Click was more about helping out people going through the same career path and helping to legitimise the industry.'
