Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave his talk on the new national education policy of the country on Friday. PM Modi gave the opening address at a conference organized by the Ministry of Education. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that after three to four years of brainstorming, the new education policy has been approved. Today people of every ideology are brainstorming on this issue.

Today, no one is opposing this policy, because there is nothing one-sided in it. Now people are wondering how such a big reform will be put on the ground. The PM said that it is not just a circular but a mahayagya, which will lay the foundation of a new country and create a century.

A statement issued from the Prime Minister's Office said that the conference is being organized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and University Grants Commission (UGC). During the conference, special sessions on important aspects of education covered under National Education Policy, 2020 such as holistic, multi-disciplinary and future education, quality research, and equal access to technology for better access to education will be organized.
