SHIMLA: A total of 131 Covid-19
positive cases were reported in
Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. These included 47 from Kullu, 21 from Hamirpur, 16 from Solan, 14 from Una, nine from Sirmaur, seven each from Bilaspur and Mandi district, four each from Kangra and Shimla and one each from Chamba and Kinnaur. The 103 patients who recovered include three from Bilaspur, one from Chamba, 17 from Kangra, two from Kullu, 11 from Mandi, five from Shimla, 34 from Sirmaur, 25 from Solan and five from Una.
In all, the state has 3,047 positive cases, of which 1,142 are active, 1,865 patients have recovered, 12 have died while 26 have migrated out of the state. A total of 1,58,537 persons were tested for Covid-19 in the state till Thursday, of whom 1,54,295 persons tested negative and results of 1,195 samples are awaited.
Solan district is the worst hit in the state with maximum of 758 positive cases. Of these, 398 are active, 344 have recovered and 16 have migrated out of the state. Kangra district has the second highest number of 500 positive cases with 104 active, 391 recoveries and three fatalities. Two persons have migrated out of the state.
Hamirpur district has reported 339 positive cases, of which 51 are active, 285 have recovered while three persons have died. Sirmaur district has 364 positive cases, of which 89 are active, 267 have recovered, one person has died while seven have migrated out of the state. In Una district, there are 264 positive cases with 91 active and 173 recoveries.
As many as 134 positive cases have been reported in Bilaspur district, of which 65 are active while 69 persons have recovered. Chamba district has 137 positive cases, of which 50 are active while 86 have recovered. Kinnaur district has 46 positive cases, of which 12 are active and 34 have recovered.
In Kullu, there are 86 positive cases, of which 65 are active, 20 have recovered and one person has migrated out of the state. Lahaul-Spiti district has reported four positive cases, all of whom have recovered.
In Mandi district, there are 227 positive cases, of which 146 are active, 78 have recovered while three persons have died. Shimla district has 188 positive cases, of which 71are active, 114 have recovered while two persons have died.
