The Gehlot government has found a way for former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to retain bungalow and avoid the Supreme Court and the High Court.


The government has made some changes in the rules for allotment of legislators, the Chief Secretary of the Rajasthan High Court has given a notice of contempt for not getting the bungalow of Vasundra Raje, the High Court has asked the government to reply by September 10 to the Assembly. The committee allocating the bungalow will now be able to allot a bigger bungalow to senior legislators.


For this, the Gehlot government has issued two notifications, in this way the Rajasthan government will also avoid contempt of court and Vasundhara Raje's bungalow will not have to be vacated as per the notification issued by the government. A type bungalow can be allotted to a person who has been a cabinet or state minister for at least three times, a cabinet member who has been a cabinet minister or a legislator for at least 2 times.

According to the second notification, 4 bungalows have now been removed from the General Administration Department and handed over to the Vidhan Sabha. Now one of these 4 bungalows is also of 13 civil lines, in which Vasundhara Raje lives.
