Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy is touring the Southern districts in Tamil Nadu to carry on the Covid 19 prevention works. He visited Tenkasi and Tirunelveli districts on Friday and during his speech he announced Rs 5000 for 108 ambulance drivers among other things.
Earlier, he had introduced projects worth Rs 275 cr and provided development projects worth Rs 36 cr to 5,982 beneficiaries.
In his speech in Tenkasi, he stated that industries will be started in order to provide employment to around 1500 persons. He also said that loans have been assigned for the small, start up industries worth of Rs 82.27 cr.

In addition to that, he also said that loans worth of rs 95 cr has been provided and that actions are being taken to build dams.
The Chief Minister assured to form food parks in Gangaikonda, Tirunelveli and alloted 100 more seats in the Tirunelveli medical college on favour of the students.
