NEW DELHI: The Nifty Financial Services index was trading in the red zone on Friday's morning session.
Shares of Bajaj Finserv (up 0.94 per cent), Shriram Transport Finance (up 0.72 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance (up 0.7 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Financial (up 0.67 per cent) and Bajaj Holdings & Investment (up 0.65 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While ICICI Lombard Life (down 1.1 per cent), ICICI Pru Life (down 0.99 per cent), HDFC Bank (down 0.91 per cent), ICICI Bank (down 0.81 per cent) and SBI Life (down 0.77 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Financial Services index was trading 0.41 per cent down at 10752.75 around 10:43AM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 20.50 points at 11179.65, while the BSE Sensex was 97.02 points at 37928.43.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Alok Industries, Tata Motors and Federal Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
