*Karnataka saw 6,805 fresh cases, while 5,602 people were discharged in the 24-hour period.
*Active cases stood at 75,068, accounting for 47% of all cases, while the total number of deaths touched 2,897, of which 93 were added on Thursday.
*Karnataka, which ended another day with more than 6,000 fresh Covid-19 cases taking the tally closer to 1.6 lakh cases, also reported a happy statistic: The recovery rate has increased by 11.3% in Karnataka and 20.8% in Bengaluru.
