Now the Rajasthan government will also provide an insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh in cases of personnel of urban bodies.

This was stated by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot while interacting with the representatives of various employee organizations on COVID-19 from video conferencing at the Chief Minister's residence on Wednesday. During this, he held discussions with representatives of about 151 employee organizations across the state.

Ashok Gehlot said that it is our first duty to save a life. We will not put any lack of money, resources, and efforts into it. He said that Rajasthan is the first state to provide an insurance cover of Rs 50 lakh to the government and non-government personnel working as Corona Warriors. This insurance cover will also be given by the state government in cases of personnel of urban bodies.

On this occasion, Ashok Gehlot said that the cooperation of the government and non-government personnel with the whole body and money in dealing with the formidable challenge of COVID-19 is a result of the government that Rajasthan Corona is at the forefront in the war standing.
