Ayodhya/ New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi this afternoon laid a 40-kg silver brick in Ayodhya to symbolise the construction of Ram Temple, months after the site in Ram Janmabhoomi - disputed for decades- was handed over to Hindus last year by the Supreme Court. In his address at the grand groundbreaking event, PM Modi amid slogans of "Bharat Mata ki Jai'' and 'Har Har Mahadev" said: "It is my good fortune that Ram Janmabhoomi Trust gave me the opportunity to be a witness to this historic moment. Many congratulations to devotees across the country." He chanted "Siyavar Ram Chandra ki Jai!" and "Jai Siya Ram" as he started addressing a gathering of spiritual leaders and said: "Today, this chant is not only reverberating in Ayodhya but across the world."
