Kmart Australia has offered a first look inside its new 'K Hub' stores after converting three struggling Target Country outlets into a one-stop shop.
The budget retailer announced the official opening of its brand new concept stores this week in Cobram, Echuca and Seymour in regional Victoria.
The smaller format stores will be stocked with the most popular products across homewares, clothing, and children range.

'Our K hub stores may look a little different to what you'd expect from a normal Kmart store,' Kmart wrote on LinkedIn earlier this week.
'They have our most popular Kmart products across kids, home and clothing, but they've been brought to life in a new way - a collection inspired for a smaller neighbourhood store, with bigger convenience in mind.'
Customers will have the option to shop Kmart and Target's full product range online, then visit the store to collect their items.

'We'll also be extending this service to include our friends at Catch - so think of our K hub stores as a one-stop-shop for all of your favourite products.'
The retailer confirmed all of its former Target employees from the three locations were offered a job under the new K Hub brand.
'All of the previous Target store team members were offered the opportunity to join our growing Kmart family,' it said.
'We are so excited to bring these new concept stores to life and welcome even more team members into the Kmart family.'

The three stores 'safely' opened its doors to the community earlier this week.
'Of course, it wouldn't be a great store opening without a superstar team and for these stores, our customers were welcomed in by some familiar faces,' it said.
The new K Hub stores come just months after owner Westfarmers revealed plans to drastically shut 75 Target outlets, and convert 92 others into Kmarts.
The company said the restructure would reduce Target's 'unsustainable' cost base and allow it focus on the more-profitable Kmart.
An additional 25 regional Target Country stores will be converted into small Kmarts, while between ten and 40 large stores will become big Kmarts.
