NEW DELHI: Around 59 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Drugs, Amber Enterprises India , Akash Infra-Projects, Balaxi Ventures, Balkrishna Industries , Cadila Healthcare, LT Foods, FDC, Gujarat Ambuja Exports, Hatsun Agro Product, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, MindTree, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Majesco, Tata Communications and PI Industries.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 120.30 points up at 11215.55 on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 44 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 6 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco Inds., Axis Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance were among top gainers, while PowerGrid, Nestle India, Dr. Reddy's Labs, HUL and HDFC Life Insurance Company were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 422.76 points up at 38110.67.
