NEW DELHI: Nifty Pharma index was trading flat on Wednesday's morning session.
Shares of Cadila Healthcare (up 1.44 per cent), Cipla (up 1.32 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (up 1.21 per cent), Biocon (up 0.92 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 0.86 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Alkem Laboratories (down 1.68 per cent), Divis Laboratories (down 0.64 per cent) and Dr Reddy's Laboratories (down 0.25 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.41 per cent up at 11363.65 around 11:10AM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 99.45 points at 11194.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 337.8 points at 38025.71.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SBI, SAIL and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
