The political arrogance in Rajasthan is not taking the name of pause. The Rajasthan High Court today heard the merger of BSP MLAs in the Congress.

An appeal filed by Bahujan Samaj Party and Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Madan Dilawar was heard by the bench of Chief Justice Indrajit Mahanti and Justice Prakash Gupta in the Rajasthan High Court.

After the hearing, the bench has issued a notice to the Speaker. The High Court has directed the Speaker to reply to this notice by Thursday morning. Now the hearing on behalf of the High Court will be held again on Thursday at 10.30 am.

Significantly, last year only six MLAs left the BSP and joined Congress. Now, political turmoil has started in Rajasthan after several Congress MLAs, including former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, have taken a rebellious stand.
