Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Allegations of involvement \'dirty politics\'\, says Aditya Thackeray
MUMBAI: Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray, whose name was being mentioned in hushed tones over his alleged links in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, rejected claims of his involvement. He termed the allegations as "dirty politics". In a statement on Tuesday, he said those who cannot digest the performance of the Maharashtra government and its popularity were behind the rumour. He said those who are "upset at their own failures" are dragging his name in the case for political reasons.
Calling Sushant's death unfortunate, Aaditya said the Mumbai police was probing the case and if anyone had any information, they can hand it over to the police.
Earlier in the day, BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Narayan Rane claimed Rajput was killed. Rane also claimed Disha Salian, ex-manager of the actor, was also murdered. He alleged "a young minister in the Thackeray government was involved and the Mumbai police was covering up the case".
