A quick-thinking driver managed to swerve around a man who suddenly appeared in front of his car.
Shocking dashcam footage showed the driver cruising down the M7 motorway near Kings Park, in Western Sydney, before performing the life-saving manoeuvre.
The driver was coming up to the Sunnyholt Road exit around 5.35am when they passed a white car in the emergency lane and a man rolled onto the road.

The driver was travelling at 100km/h when they approached a white four wheel drive pulled over on the shoulder of the road with its hazard lights on and doors open.
Dashcam video captured the moment a man suddenly fell down in front of the white car and tumbled across the emergency lane.
The man rolled into the path of the driver who was then forced to quickly swerve right.
The driver safely moved over to the next lane and narrowly avoided hitting the man.
Shocked viewers praised the driver for their 'brilliant reaction'.
'Great reaction, this just makes me happy that I try to move over when going past someone in the emergency lane,' one commenter wrote.
