NEW DELHI: <a href="/topic/Nifty-CPSE-index" target="_blank">Nifty CPSE index</a> was trading flat on Wednesday's afternoon session.

<br> Shares of <a target="_blank" href="/nmdc-ltd/stocks/companyid-11633.cms">NMDC Ltd</a> (up 1.83 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.92 per cent), NBCC (India) (up 0.65 per cent), NTPC (up 0.23 per cent) and Cochin Shipyard (up 0.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> While NLC India (down 1.33 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/power-grid-corporation-of-india-ltd/stocks/companyid-4628.cms">Power Grid Corporation of India</a> (down 1.07 per cent), Bharat Electronics (down 0.85 per cent), NHPC (down 0.5 per cent) and <a target="_blank" href="/coal-india-ltd/stocks/companyid-11822.cms">Coal India</a> (down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> The Nifty CPSE index was trading 0.03 per cent down at 1407.2 around 01:45PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 11.45 points at 11106.7, while the <a target="_blank" href="/indices/sensex_30_companies">BSE Sensex</a> was up 18.65 points at 37706.56.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red. 
<br> 
<br> Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SAIL, SBI and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
