NEW DELHI: Bank shares were trading on a mixed note in Tuesday's session.

<br> Shares of HDFC Bank (up 3.98 per cent) , IDFCBANK (up 2.11 per cent) , RBLBANK (up 2.06 per cent) , <a target="_blank" href="/icici-bank-ltd/stocks/companyid-9194.cms">ICICI Bank</a> (up 1.73 per cent) , Axis Bank (up 1.52 per cent) , Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 1.11 per cent) and Bandhan Bank (up 0.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> While IndusInd Bank (down 1.87 per cent) , Punjab National Bank (down 1.52 per cent) , Bank of Baroda (down 1.07 per cent) , Federal Bank (down 0.57 per cent) and State Bank of India (down 0.44 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> The Nifty Bank index was trading 1.64 per cent up at 21417.55 around 01:44PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 151.25 points at 11042.85, while the BSE Sensex was up 571.66 points at 37511.26.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red. 
<br> 
<br> Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, Zee Ent., SBI, RIL, BHEL, HDFC Bank, IDFC First Bank Ltd. and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
