NEW DELHI: Around 59 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

<br>Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Amber Enterprises India , Akash Infra-Projects, Balaxi Ventures, Cadila Healthcare, Eveready Industries India , FDC, <a target="_blank" href="/essel-propack-ltd/stocks/companyid-13764.cms">Essel Propack</a> , Jubilant Life Sciences,Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Majesco, Persistent Systems, Unichem Laboratories, <a target="_blank" href="/tata-communications-ltd/stocks/companyid-11992.cms">Tata Communications</a>, PI Industries and Torrent Pharmaceuticals.

<br>Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 86.50 points up at 10978.10 on Tuesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

<br>Overall, 29 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 21 were trading in red in the afternoon trade. 
<br>
<br>In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, Zee Ent., Coal India Ltd, Hero MotoCorp and RIL were among top gainers. 
<br>
<br>While IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, UltraTech Cement and Infosys were trading in red. 
<br>
<br>The BSE Sensex was trading 312.24 points up at 37251.84.
