Mother allegedly stabbed by ex-partner in Sydney's north-west
The ex-partner of a 32-year-old mother is expected to be charged after the woman was found stabbed to death in Oatlands.
Police were called to a unit in Ingleby Street in Oatlands about 4.50pm on Monday following reports of a stabbing.

Daiane Pelegrini, 32, was treated by paramedics for multiple stab wounds to the chest before being taken to Westmead Hospital where she died.
A 25-year-old man, who police said was known to the woman, was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital to undergo a mental health assessment. He has returned to Granville police station and is expected to be charged on Tuesday afternoon.
Another man, who police said was also known to the woman, was treated nearby for a minor injury. He did not require further treatment, police said.
It is understood Ms Pelegrini, a Brazilian national, had broken up with the 25-year-old man and started a new relationship.

She worked at a Spanish aged care facility, the Residential Gardens, in Rooty Hill.
On Tuesday, the complex driveway was secured by police.
Neighbour Steven, who did not give his last name, told Nine News the situation was upsetting.
"It's very shocking to us, especially for the little girl," he said. "It is horrible."
The woman's daughter is in the care of family.
