NRL star Kotoni Staggs has been caught up in an alleged revenge sex tape scandal after a 'personal' video circulated online.
The Brisbane Broncos confirmed on Tuesday afternoon they are aware of the video recording involving the 21-year-old.
'The video is of a highly personal nature and has been released without his consent,' the club said in a statement.

Brisbane Broncos said they are working with the NRL Integrity Unit and 'alerted it as soon as becoming aware of the issue'.
An NRL official said the Integrity Unit was aware of the matter.
It's understood Staggs will be interviewed by the Integrity Unit within the next 24 hours, although it is unlikely he will face any repercussions from the league.

The non-consensual sharing of personal images online is a criminal offence in Australia and is considered image-based sexual abuse.
The video was allegedly released by a woman known to the Tonga international rugby league player.
Channel 7 reporter Chris Garry said the 'sensitive' video had been distributed on Tuesday and police were looking into the incident.

'It's understood police are investigating the woman who released the video and she could face charges. Kotoni expected to be cleared,' he wrote on Twitter.
The revelations come as the Broncos prepare to face South Sydney in a grudge match at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Friday night.
Staggs returned to the field last month after recovering from a hamstring injury, scoring two tries and starring in his team's narrow defeat to the Cronulla Sharks.
On July 17, Staggs wrote on Instagram: 'Rehab is a Challenge every day. Can't wait to be back with the brothers.'
