2021 Zagato IsoRivolta GTZ Is A New GT With A ‘Vette-Sourced V8

Italian coachbuilder Zagato has announced another stunning creation: the IsoRivolta GTZ.

Built to celebrate the Italian-American car ties, it marks the rebirth of the IsoRivolta brand and was inspired by the Iso Rivolta A3 from 1963. The beautiful body features a simple yet elegant front end defined by the small upper and lower grilles, teardrop-shaped headlamps and mean-styled hood.

Crafted from carbon fiber, the coupe also features muscular shoulder lines and four rounded taillamps at the back.

As for the firepower, Zagato has chosen a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 sourced from the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Mind you, the engine has been upgraded and now has a larger displacement of 6.8 liters. However, we do not know how much it puts down and, consequently, how fast the car is to 60 mph (96 km/h) and what top speed it is able to reach. The company has chosen to keep these details close to its chest for now.

It seems like we will have to wait until October to find out the juicy details of the IsoRivolta GTZ, as that is when the first unit will be shipped to its owner and Zagato will release the full content.

Speaking of production, the model is strictly limited to just 19 units, with only 10 of them still available at the time of writing. We cannot tell you how much one will have to fork out to park a GTZ in their garage, but we reckon it is anything but cheap.
