Congress Party national spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said on Tuesday that the party can negotiate with rebel MLAs of the Sachin Pilot camp if they leave the hospitality of the Manohar Lal Khattar government in Haryana.

Surjewala said that the only condition for negotiating with disgruntled Rajasthan legislators is to leave the "Suraksha Chakra (security)" of the BJP.

Surjewala once again underlined the party's stand of adjustment and said that "innocent children are being killed, gang-raped, people are being beaten up in Gurugram". There is no police available for them, but 1,000 police personnel are deployed to protect the 19 troubled MLAs. The MLAs should first give up the security of the Haryana Police, and the friendship and hospitality of the BJP, come back home, and only then will the conversation take place. ”

Congress leaders have alleged that the pilot camp is staying in a hotel in Haryana in the hospitality of the BJP. He has also accused the BJP of trying to topple the Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan.

Surjewala, Rajasthan Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey, and senior leader Ajay Maken have been sent to the state as central observers by the party.

On Saturday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that he would welcome former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot and other disgruntled Congress MLAs if the party high commander waived them.

Ashok Gehlot said that "If the high command forgives them (disgruntled MLAs), I will embrace them. I do not have any reputation."

Gehlot has also rejected the claim of disgruntled Congress MLAs that their works were not being completed. He told reporters that the MLAs had earlier appreciated the work of the government and now they are complaining about it.
