Section 144 imposed in Kalaburagi City, Karnataka, in the wake of Bhumi Pujan in Ayodhya. The order will be in force from August 4, 3 pm, to August 6, 6 am, said the Police Commissioner, Kalaburagi City. 

Ahead of the foundation laying ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the four-phased Ramarchan puja, which is a prayer to invite all major gods and goddesses, has begun. 

Meanwhile, prayers began around 10:30 am with Vedic saints conducting the prayers facing Ramlalla on his temporary seat.

As part of the religious ceremonies ahead of main Bhoomi Pujan on August 5, Lord Ganesha prayers were conducted on Monday.

The foundation stone of the temple will be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow, who has a tight schedule of almost three hours in Ayodhya.

PM Modi and four other persons will be on the stage for the mega event organized in the middle of the country's fight against the coronavirus.

The Prime Minister will leave Delhi by special flight tomorrow morning, and after reaching Lucknow, fly by chopper to Ayodhya, around 125 km away. The chopper will land at a helipad set up in a college in the Uttar Pradesh holy town on the banks of the river Saryu.

No selfies, 8-foot-distance: Instructions issued to ensure proper implementation of virus norms

With just a day left for the Ram Temple ceremony in Ayodhya, the organisers have issued general instructions to ensure that social distancing norms are followed amid a raging pandemic.

The cops on duty have been instructed to not take any selfies with the dignitaries attending the ceremony. 

The authorities have asked the organisers to ensure that at least 8-foot distance in maintained in the seating arrangement.  

A press release issued by the Ayodhya District Magistrate says that all the workers inside the temple premises have been provided with triple-layered masks.

The release further reads that two enforcement teams have been constituted to monitor that everyone is wearing their protective gear all the time.

The Lord Ram is with everyone, she tweeted, expressing hope that tomorrow's ceremony at the Ram Janambhoomi will become an occasion for "national unity, fraternity and cultural congregation".
