NMMC to decide on antibody tests for herd immunity

NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is set to make a decision this week on when to begin antibody testing, to check herd immunity. The random sample antibody testing will ensure a better study of the spread of infection.
Meanwhile, civic commissioner Abhijit Bhangar has asked officials across wards to identify areas where antigen testing can be conducted at a micro level, especially for those with co-morbidities or any Covid symptoms. Bhangar said over a lakh additional antigen kits had been ordered.
