Amidst a turf war between Mumbai Police and Bihar Police over the probe in the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, now, Mumbai Police Commissioner, Param Bir Singh has issued a formal statement about their ongoing investigation into the case. The Mumbai Police say they have ruled out reports about a rumoured party at the actor’s house the night before his demise while adding that they have ‘not spared anyone’ and recorded about 56 statements so far. The Commissioner, during the address, also revealed that the actor Google searched ‘painless death’, among other things. The cops also retrieved material from his laptop and phone, which reportedly had a message from the late actor to his lawyer asking ‘Who is Disha Salian, please find out.’ Sushant was purportedly 'upset' about being linked to the celebrity manager who reportedly died by suicide on June 9. Reports had been doing rounds that she was Sushant’s former manager. The Mumbai Police have also investigated the alleged ‘missing’ funds amounting to Rs 13-14 crores, and state that the money is 'accounted for', which is contrary to claims made by Sushant's father, KK Singh, in FIR against Rhea. However, they are still investigating for ‘any other link’ in the funds.
