Initial reports in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case revealed that the actor had changed 14 sim card from June 9-13. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Bihar Police suspect that Sushant had come to know the reason behind his ex-manager Disha Salian's death, which might have been the reason he changed his number so many times.

Police officials said that Disha had reportedly called Sushant before her death to share a crucial bit of information. It is believed that 'threatened' Sushant, who then went on a number-changing spree. Police sources also said that Sushant's rommate and close friends Siddharth Pithani had learnt the crucial information too.

The SIT also believes that the CCTV footage in Sushant's house was tampered with, since they were unable to access any footage from there yet. The Mumbai Police had previously stated that there was no CCTV recording of Sushant's house from the night.

Salian's mother, however, had a different statement when she was asked about the link between her daughter's death and Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. She told Zee News, “This cannot have a connection with Sushant’s death, she (Disha) never took his name. We didn’t know that she was Sushant’s manager. We came to know later. Only once, she had told us that she had gone to Sushant’s house with somebody. How can there be a connection in meeting him just once? She was his manager for a very short time.”

Disha's mother had gone on to state that Salian was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's manager for two years, and was upset after losing out the project of working on Ranbir Kapoor's wedding.

The Mumbai Police Commissioner has recently confirmed that the team has recorded statements of 36 people involved with the case, including Sushant's family and Rhea Chakraborty. Meanwhile, Rhea and Siddharth are yet to give a statement to the Bihar Police in person.
