Manushi Chhillar’s astounding answer that won her the crown of Miss World 2017

The gorgeous beauty queen who was scouted by the Miss India Organization during a college fest at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in December 2016 for Campus Princess, made an entry into the pageant world and since then, has had no turning back. She went on to win the title of Femina Miss India Haryana and represented the state of Haryana at the national pageant, Femina Miss India where she was crowned the winner and earned the right to represent India at the prestigious Miss World 2017 pageant.

Manushi Chhillar who is a medical student had a complete u-turn of profession when she entered the pageant world, but she was the one destined to bring back the coveted crown back to India after long 17 years. It was a proud moment for the entire country when Manushi was crowned Miss World 2017 after Priyanka Chopra in 2000.

The top 5 finalists of the pageant went through the question and answer round which is the decision making round to finalize the winner. The diva who is the epitome of elegance and humility was well appreciated for her performance at the international pageant and her winning answer took the internet by storm.

On being asked, which profession deserves the highest salary and why? without any hesitation or doubt Manushi answered with a big smile and said, “The profession which deserves the highest salary, the highest respect and love should be of a mother.”

Manushi who is very close to her mother further explained that, a mother is the one who has to get the highest respect as it’s not just about salary, but the love and respect you give to someone. Her mom has always been her biggest inspiration and she expressed her gratitude to all the mothers for their lifelong sacrifice.
