A Woolworths customer has revealed how she buys fresh lamb each week for only $5 per kilogram.
Posting to the Budget Friendly Meals Australia Facebook group, shopper Beck revealed she saves money by purchasing packets of 'Lamb Offcuts' from the supermarket.
The mum said the meat in each packet is suitable to grill or use in soups, curries and stews and costs a third of the price.
'Keep an eye out at your local Woolies,' Beck said online, adding: 'Lamb offcuts, $5/kg at Woolies. Ain't bloody offcuts to me! Shorts loins - just some thick, some thin and odd shapes.'
This means rather than spending $27 a kilogram for lamb chops, customers pay only $5 per kilogram and save money on their weekly grocery shop.

'I had actually picked up a tray of the full-priced ones and put back once I found these trays,' Beck said.
For another added bonus, the Woolworths buy is also 100 per cent Australian grown lamb.
Other customers part of the Facebook group agreed and said the budget meat is high quality and very good value for money.

'It's amazing, they're better than some of the good cuts,' one person said online.
'Always buy them. Take out any decent chops and the rest gets made into curry,' another said.
A third added: 'I worked in meat at Woolies and use to look out for these cuts.'
'Yup, this is the only way we can afford lamb. Stick those babies under the griller and yum,' a fourth said.
