Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is planning to have its preparatory camp for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) from early August.
Chennai:
As per a report in ESPNcricinfo, Super Kings players have been asked by the management to assemble in Chennai around August 10. The entire team will then leave for the United Arab Emirates – host of IPL 2020 – in a charter flight.
CSK, led by talisman Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is looking at having a month-long camp to acclimatise to the new conditions. Before the coronavirus pandemic forced the postponement of the league, Super Kings had a camp in Chennai in March, which was attended by most of the domestic players, including Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu and Piyush Chawla.
