Ludhiana reports 99 new Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths

LUDHIANA: The district on Sunday reported 99 new cases of Covid-19 infection and eight deaths during the past 24 hours.
Deputy commissioner Varinder Sharma said that there were 1,197 active Covid-19 patients in the district.
He said that the total number of coronavirus patients in Ludhiana is 3517, while 450 patients are from other districts or states.
He said that with eight fresh fatalities, the Covid-19 toll in the district has climbed to 105 while 41 other districts have lost their lives due to the infection.
