He was a corporate high flyer.
A good looking young man who by his own admission lived a very 'comfortable' life.
Benjamin Tiplady bragged on Linkedin that he was a 'pragmatic and utilitarian leader' who outside of work was 'a keen patron of the theatre and ballet' and had a 'growing art collection'.
But he may soon be swapping the fancy suits and business class pyjamas to which he has become accustomed for the green tracksuit compulsory for prison inmates.
The 34-year-old project manager and entrepreneur will next week be sentenced over a campaign of domestic violence against a swimwear model he dated and then later assaulted, abused and stalked.

High-flying businessman Benjamin Alexander Tiplady (pictured) will next week be sentenced on a raft of domestic violence charges over a campaign of harassment he launched against his glamorous ex-girlfriend Sophie Collins

The businessman and Ms Collins - a Maxim's swimwear model - began dating in mid-2017 and had a number of run-ins that led to police involvement
Tiplady was ever the gentleman when he met Sophie Collins, 25, but when their 'on and off' relationship soured he quickly turned.
After being found guilty of nine charges of domestic violence Tiplady is now facing more than two years imprisonment.
At the same time an AVO has also been taken out against him by police on behalf of another glamorous woman Chanel Heeren, but that matter remains before the court.
Court documents reveal Tiplady - an entrepreneur and investor - flew internationally as part of his employment and once told the court his income was 'comfortable'.
The businessman and Ms Collins - a Maxim's swimwear model - began dating in mid-2017 and had a number of run-ins that led to police involvement.
An AVO was first sought between the pair in late-2017 but they continued dating.
As they walked out after dinner at highly rated Potts Point restaurant Fratelli Paradiso in December 2018, a row ensued.
During their argument Tiplady grabbed Ms Collins' 'upper arm for an extended period of time', leaving her feeling fearful.
As Tiplady held onto his girlfriend a former police officer walked past and attempted to intervene.
'The best cop is a dead cop,' the businessman told him.

Police have also recently taken an AVO out against Tiplady on behalf of another glamorous woman Chanel Heeren (pictured), but that matter remains before the court

An AVO between Tiplady, 34, and Ms Collins, 25, was first sought between the pair in late-2017 but they continued dating

On one occasion as they walked out after dinner at highly rated Potts Point restaurant Fratelli Pardiso (pictured) in December 2018, a row ensued and Tiplady grabbed Ms Collins' 'arm for an extended period of time', leaving her feeling fearful
A week after the incident the couple reunited for dinner at Ms Collins apartment, but once again the mood quickly deteriorated.
'The accused has picked up a wine glass and thrown it across the room, causing it to smash,' court documents state.
Shortly after those incidents the pair's relationship came to an end, but still Tiplady continued to harass Ms Collins.
On January 3, 2019, she provided NSW Police with a statement in which she claimed he had 'constantly located her place of abode on numerous occasions without being told the actual address'.
Tiplady also contacted the workplace of Ms Collins' new partner in Melbourne and in a phone call threatened to 'bash him'.
He also told him 'not to date women who are married', despite the fact she was not.
Under the conditions of an AVO taken out by police on behalf of Ms Collins, Tiplady was told he could not continue to 'stalk, harass or intimidate' her.
He was also ordered not to go within 200 metres of her or her workplace.
After being charged with destroying property, common assault and contravening an AVO, Tiplady was granted bail in the NSW Local Court.
But instead of accepting responsibility for his actions, Tiplady blamed Ms Collins.
Twice on Monday, August 5 2019 he called the phone of Ms Collins - initially from a number which his ex-girlfriend realised and did not answer.
Then, two hours later he called back on a private number and after Ms Collins picked up began launching into a tirade.
'She commenced recording the call on video as evidence using another mobile... the call lasted for two minutes,' court papers state.
'During the call (Tiplady) lambasted the victim, blaming her for his current situation and the legal costs he encountered.'
After Ms Collins reported the harassment to police they went to check on Tiplady at the address he had been ordered to reside at under his bail conditions.

Despite being banned from contacting Ms Collins by this stage, in August 2019 Tiplady calls her twice in one night leading to him being arrested and new charges being laid by police

Tiplady is due to be sentenced at Downing Centre Local Court (pictured) on Monday, August 3
But instead they found the landlord who told officers 'she had evicted the accused and was unsure of where he was living'.
She believed he had been travelling interstate regularly.
Eventually police tracked him down and arrested him at Surry Hills Police Station in his suit.
In addition to the three initial charges relating to his campaign against Ms Collins, he was slapped by six further offences relating to domestic violence and bail breaches.
Despite again refusing to accept responsibility for his actions by pleading not guilty to some of the charges, they were found to be proven by the NSW Local Court.
Ms Collins has been contacted for comment by Daily Mail Australia, while Ms Heeren did not wish to comment.
He is due to be sentenced on Monday, August 3.
