European duo Francesco Molinari and Padraig Harrington have withdrawn from next week's PGA Championship in San Francisco.
Neither player gave a reason for pulling out but it is likely due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States.
Both players have yet to compete on the PGA Tour since the sport emerged from its lockdown in June.
Three-time major winner Harrington has been replaced by Talor Gooch for the year's first major at TPC Harding Park.
2018 British Open Champion Molinari has been replaced by Troy Merritt.
The PGA Championship was originally scheduled for May before being postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It will be the first of three majors set to take place this year, with the US Open to follow in September and the Masters in November.
