Oppo has recently announced that it is launching its stunning-looking watch with Wear OS by Google as the operating system.
Yeah, and that’ll cost you a lot less than their competitor-Apple Watch.
Oppo defines the Oppo Watch as the first smartwatch in the world with a dual-curved display, indicating the OLED panel curves on two sides, like many of the company’s phones. The first Wear OS smartwatch from Oppo will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 chipset, but also comes with an Ambiq Micro Apollo3 co-processor that will help extend lifespan and longevity. The smartwatch comes with just one storage and RAM configuration, with 1 GB of RAM available, and 8 GB of internal storage, irrespective of which model is selected.

The Oppo Watch comes in two size variants. 41mm and 46mm.
The 41mm model comes in three colors, black, mist silver, and pink gold. It features a 1.6-inch squared AMOLED display with a 320×360 pixel resolution at 301ppi. The battery measures in at 300mAh, which will last about 24 hours of “normal” use but can be extended up to 14 days when the power-saving mode is activated. It is priced at Rs. 14,990.
The 46 mm model could be more appealing to those who want the “real” Wear OS experience with the latest Oppo Watch. It comes in two colors, black and glossy gold. It features a 1.9-inch AMOLED display with a 402×476 pixel resolution at 326ppi plus has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. It also has the option of LTE connectivity. The battery measures in at 430mAh, which will last about 30 hours in “smart mode” or can be extended up to 21 days when power-saving mode is activated. The 430mAh battery charges in 75 minutes and is half full in 15 minutes. It is priced at Rs. 19,990.

Both smartwatches have a rather similar look and feel to those of the Apple Watch and come with aluminum alloy frames, though a ceramic backplate only comes for the 46 mm model. Removable straps are also available with the choices for leather, silicone, and rubber said to be available on release day.
The smartwatch will go on sale from August 10 onwards in the country.
