Gujarat: CM Vijay Rupani to visit Surat city to review Covid-19 situation on Sunday

SURAT: Chief minister Vijay Rupani will visit Surat city to review the Covid-19 situation on Sunday (2 August) and will hold meeting with officials of Surat Municipal Corporation and collectorate.
According to sources, Rupani will arrive in the city at 3 pm. He will visit newly set-up Covid-19 Hospital at a stem cell building in New Civil Hospital (NCH) campus and Kidney building where the new Covid-19 facility is being set up.
After the visit, chief minister will go to Surat district collector's office where he will hold meeting with officers of Surat district and Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) and review the Covid-19 work and future plan.
This will be his second visit to the city after Covid-19 cases started surging in state's second largest city. Earlier, CM visited Surat on 4 July and took stock of Covid-19 preparedness.
