AHMEDABAD: Gujarat recorded 1,153 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours ending 5 pm on Friday, taking the state tally to 61,438. Its Gujarat's fourth consecutive day of 1,100-plus cases.
Surat recorded the highest 284 cases followed by Ahmedabad (176), Vadodara (94) and Rajkot (79). The state also recorded deaths of 23 patients, taking the total toll to 2,441. Surat recorded the highest 11 deaths, four in Ahmedabad and three in Vadodara.
