CLAIMFootage of a jet being fueled mid-air is being shared with the claims it is one of the Rafale jets purchased by India.
A Facebook page by the name of Indian Aviation Jobs shared the video on Facebook with a caption that reads, “And That Is How The Refuelling Was Done Mid-Air Of Rafale Jet (sic)”.
The video post has been viewed over 88000 times so far. It can be viewed

Another Facebook post by Naresh Shenoy that made a similar claim using the same video has so far received over 56000 views. It can be viewed

The caption given to the video post reads, “And that is how the refuelling is done mid-air #ThankYouPmModiForRafale #RafaleJets (sic)”.
The same claim is being made on other social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter with the same footage.

TRUTHThe video is two years old and of a
Brazil Air Force fighter jet. It has no connection with Rafale jets purchased by India.
VERIFICATION AND METHODOLOGYWe broke the video into keyframes using Google Chrome’s InVID extension and ran reverse-image search on them.
In the results, we found the same footage posted by the official Twitter account of
Brazilian Air Force on September 28, 2018.
As per the description given to the video, it shows an F-5 fighter of the Brazilian Air Force performing in-flight refueling of Brazilian Navy A-4 fighter jets.
The official Twitter handle of Indian embassy in
France posted a few shots from 30,000 feet of mid-air refuelling of Rafale jets on their way to India.
The official Facebook page of
