The latest crime statistics revealed murders have increased by 1.4%, with police precincts in KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape placing in the top 10.
In the Western Cape, Delft and Khayelitsha have replaced Nyanga as the murder capital of the country.
Police precincts in the Eastern and Western Cape as well as KwaZulu-Natal held the top 10 for attempted murders, the statistics showed.
Between 1 April 2019 and 31 March 2020, 21 325 murders were recorded, which translates into around 58.42 per day.
