Punjab: Patiala reports 126 Covid-19 cases

PATIALA: The district on Friday reported its highest single-day count of 126 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to 1,739 patients.
The health authorities said that 85 patients were also recovered, taking the tally of recovered cases to 1,013. There are 698 active coronavirus cases in Patiala.
The officials said of the 126 cases reported in the district, 50 cases were from Patiala city, 22 from Rajpura, 19 from Nabha, nine from Samana and six from Patran blocks and 18 cases from different villages. The officials added that among these three were NRIs and 48 patients had flu-like symptoms.
