NEW DELHI: Bank shares were trading on a mixed note in Friday's session.
Shares of State Bank of India (up 3.48 per cent) , Bank of Baroda (up 1.85 per cent) , Axis Bank (up 1.51 per cent) , ICICI Bank (up 1.1 per cent) , IndusInd Bank (up 0.7 per cent) and RBLBANK (up 0.3 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While HDFC Bank (down 2.11 per cent) , IDFC BANK (down 2.04 per cent) , Federal Bank (down 0.65 per cent) , Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 0.57 per cent) , Bandhan Bank (down 0.34 per cent) and Punjab National Bank (down 0.16 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.16 per cent up at 21680.65 around 02:11PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 17.50 points at 11084.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 87.32 points at 37648.75.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 20 were in the red.
