An Australian mum has used a $19 three-tier serving stand from Kmart to neatly hold bowls of ingredients during family 'Taco Tuesday' nights.

Amanda, from Perth, Western Australia, shared a photo of the simple dinner idea to the Kmart Mums Australia Facebook group where it quickly impressed thousands of others.

Online Amanda said she purchased two of the stands and described the product as 'great to use' and convenient for family dinners.

Using the stand is a smart and convenient idea rather than scattering the bowls of food across the dinner table.

'When daddy's home and we have more ingredients, we put them both out,' she said online.

Amanda placed the bowl of tomatoes on top, the cheese in the middle and lettuce at the bottom.

The budget product can be purchased from Kmart store locations and online.

The post received more than 2,700 likes within 24 hours and many thanked Amanda for sharing the clever idea.

'Great idea! All the little bowls of toppings/fillers take up so much table space,' one woman said.

'Taco Tuesday will never be the same!' another added, and a third said: 'Best idea ever! Have to go get one'.

While the product may be useful during taco nights, others who have purchased the stand say it's too small to use as a fruit basket.

The Nostalgia 'Taco Tuesday' kit can hold up to six different toppings of your choice including cheese, beans, lettuce, diced red onion, guacamole and sour cream.

Perfect for friends and family gatherings, the kit comes with four taco holders to keep soft and hard shells upright so you can build your tacos without any fuss.

Not only can the product be used for tacos, but home cooks can also get creative with burritos, nachos, fajitas and other great Mexican dishes.

However, the product recently sold out but it could be restocked soon so shoppers are encouraged to keep a look out.
