The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday issued the new Unlock 3.0 guidelines in which the weekend lockdown in the state will be extended through the month of August.
The weekend lockdown in the state begins from 10pm on Fridays and ends at 5am on Mondays.
Schools, colleges, coaching institutes will remain closed till August 31. Cinema halls, swimming polls, entertainment parks, bars, assembly halls will also remain shut.
Yoga institutes and gyms have been allowed to open from August 5.
The guidelines broadly follow the ones issued by the Centre on Wednesday.
