Gurugram: 91 more test positive for Covid, 1 dies

GURUGRAM: The city on Wednesday reported 91 new Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to 8,912. The health department confirmed that 92 people recovered too on Wednesday taking the recoveries count to 7,771.
However, one person succumbed to the infection on Wednesday. Thirty patients are critical as per the health department data.
So far, the city has reported 122 Covid deaths, of whom 84 patients had comorbidities, officials said.
So far, 1,06,038 people have been put under surveillance in the district. The health department has sent 1,00,188 samples for testing, of which 89,227 turned out to be negative, while the results of 383 are still awaited.
On Wednesday, five people were put under government quarantine. The district has a total of 1,019 active cases, of which 798 are under home isolation. The health authorities were able to collect 1,568 samples in the past 24 hours for antigen and RT (PCR) tests.
