BENGALURU: Karnataka ended another day with over 5,000 fresh cases, taking its tally to 1,12,504 cases, while the total number of deaths jumped to 2,147 with 92 deaths in past 24 hours.
The state saw 5,503 fresh infections of which 2,270 were in Bengaluru, which also accounted for 30 of the 92 deaths. The gap between active cases and recoveries continued to widen with 67,448 patients still under treatment (60% of total).
