Five Rafale jets arrive in India: How social media reacted

NEW DELHI: A fleet of five French-manufactured Rafale multi-role combat jets touched down in India on Wednesday, giving the country's air power a strategic edge over its adversaries in the neighbourhood.
As the aircraft landed in Ambala, #RafaleInIndia was among the top trends on Twitter with many users posting congratulatory messages for the IAF.
The Twitter users also praised the "historic moment" by welcoming the batch of 5 rafale jets.
"As a citizen of India, I am elated to see the first batch of 5 Rafale jets as they make an entry into the Indian airspace. This is a historic moment. It will significantly boost combat capabilities of our Airforce. Thanks @narendramodi and Sri @rajnathsingh for a decisive action.
