NEW DELHI: Around 40 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Akash Infra-Projects, Bigbloc Construction, Balaxi Ventures, BIRLASOFT, Deepak Nitrite, Jump Networks, Laurus Labs, Majesco, Naga Dhunseri Group, Tata Consultancy Services, Venus Remedies, Reliance Communications and Xelpmoc Design And Tech

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 18.65 points down at 11281.90 on Wednesday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Overall, 32 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 18 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, Bharti Infratel, Grasim Industries and JSW Steel were among top gainers, while Nestle India, HCL Tech, Adani Ports SEZ, RIL and Infosys were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 103.48 points down at 38389.47.
