
Uttarakhand Board Result 2020, Uttarakhand Board UBSE 10th, 12th Result 2020 LIVE Updates: The Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE) has declared the result of class 10 and 12 board exams. While the result has been announced by officials, the link is yet to be activated at the website. The official time of the links to go active was 11 am.
The number of students passing the result has gone to the highest in five years. As many as 80.26% passed in Class 12 and 76.91% in class 12. Around 1.4 lakh students appeared in the class 10 exams and 1.35 lakh students for class 12 board exams this year. The results of the same will be available at uaresults.nic.in and ubse.uk.gov.in.
Unlike many boards, UBSE is declaring the result based on all the exams, even as some of them were postponed due to the lockdown. Uttarakhand Board later held those pending exams in June.

Gaurav Saklani has topped class 10 with 491.500 or 98.20% and in class 12 Beauty Vatsal from Udham Singh Nagar has topped with 96.60% or 483 marks out of 500.
The number of students clearing the exam or pass percentage under the UK Board has been increasing since 2016 and this year the pass percentage of both class 10 and 12 have touched highest ever in the past five years.

Janpad Bageshwar emerged as the best performing district in the class 12 exams, securing 90 per cent passing percent.
In class 10, Janpad Champavat has emerged as the top-performing district with 84.93 per cent students from the area clearing the exams.
In UBSE class 10 result, Gaurav Saklani topped this year with 491 marks out of 500, which calculates to 98.20 per cent. Ananta Saklani had emerged as the leading scorer in 2019. Saklani had then secured 99 per cent.
In UBSE class 12 result 2020, Beauty Batsal earned the top rank with 483 marks out of 500, calculating to 96.60 per cent. Previous term’s topper Satakshi Tiwari had secured 98 per cent marks.
Beauty Vatsal from Janpad Udham Singh Nagar has got 483 marks out of 500 or 96.60% marks. The second rank was obtained by Yugal Joshi with 477/500 or 95.40% and five students collectively hold rank three in UBSE class 12 exams with 475/500 or 95% marks.
Gaurav Saklani from Tihari, Gadwal has topped the class 10 exam with 491 out of 500 marks or 98.20% marks. The second rank is secured by Jigyasa with 489/500 or 97.80% marks. At rank three two boys and one girl have jointly held the rank. Shivani Rawat, Tanuj Jangwan, Lakshita Singh Bisht have each scored 488 or 97.60% marks
In UBSE class 10 result, 1.13 lakh students out of over 1.47 lakh who appeared have passed the exam. This puts the pass percentage at 76.91%. Pass percentage of girls is 82.65% while 71.39% of boys who appeared for the exam, passed it.
With small but steady steps UBSE has hit a five-year high pass percentage. Class 12 pass percentage is 80.26%, a slight rise from 80.13% in 2019, and in Class 10 pass percent is 76.91% again a small hike from 76.43% in 2019. Around 30 minutes after the scheduled declaration time, the result is yet to be upload. Sources claim that the result is being uploaded and will appear "shortly". The exact time is not yet announced and students would have to wait a little longer

Even as the pass percentage has been rising since 2016, it has consistently stayed ahead of the pass percentage of class 10. Would 2020 batch be able to beat the record of over 80%?

The pass percentage is the percentage of students who cleared the exam of the total students who appeared for it. Every year, more than 1 lakh students appear for the exam.
The pass percentage is been on a rise ever since 2016, this year, it is up for its fifth consecutive high, it would be worth seeing if the board is able to achieve that feat. It would be all the more celebratory as Uttarakhand unlike many boards held the pending exams, despite the pandemic.

Students need to keep their admit card handy to check result. One would have to mention their unique id or roll number which they were allotted for the boards. The admit card would have the roll number, hence candidate should keep it handy before checking the result

In order to check the results on these websites, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 2: Click on UBSE Result 2020 link on the home page.
Step 3: It will direct you to a new page
Step 4: Enter your roll number and other details
Step 5: Your result will be displayed on the screen
Step 6: Download the result and take a printout for further reference
Students can also get their results via SMS. Class 10 students need to type UK10ROLL NUMBER and send it to 56263.
Similarly for class 12 results, type UK12ROLLNUMBER and send it to 56263.
Any student who is not happy with their score can apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets. In order to do so, the concerned student has to lodge an application, along with the fee to avail this facility.
For re-evaluation,the marks are calculated by the examiner and the answer sheet is looked for an unevaluated answer. If there is any change in the marks after re-checking or re-evaluation, then the student will be issued a fresh mark sheet reflecting the updated marks.
Just in case if a student fails to clear the UBSE board exams in first attempt, they will get a second opportunity to clear the papers. They can appear for the supplementary examinations that are conducted by the board itself. He/she can also reappear for the exams in the next term after registering themselves as private candidates. Please note the board has not announced an official date for the supplementary exams.
