Coronavirus update: India has recorded 48,515 cases in the past 24 hours, taking its total number of Covid-19-positive cases to 1,558,447. The country's coronavirus caseload is the third-highest in the world, next only to the US (4,498,000) and Brazil 2,484,649.
The Home Ministry on Wednesday issued 'Unlock 3' guidelines removing restrictions on the movement of individuals during the night, while schools, metro and cinema halls will continue to remain closed.
Coronavirus world update: Worldometer recorded 247,233 new cases worldwide in the past 24 hours. As many as 16,929,142 people around the world have been diagnosed with Covid-19. While more than 10,490,621 have recovered 664,273 have died so far.
